What file formats can I provide to my packaging printer?

Expert plan users can export labels as SVG (scalable vector graphics), which is the preferred format for commercial printing as it scales to any size without pixelation. Maker plan users get PDF and PNG exports. Most co-manufacturers and packaging printers accept SVG or high-resolution PDF.

Does NutriCalcPro support Supplement Facts panels for dietary supplements?

Yes. Supplement Facts panels are supported as a separate label type on Expert plans. You can enter supplement ingredients directly and generate a compliant Supplement Facts panel for vitamins, minerals, protein powders, and other dietary supplements.

How does the recipe cost calculator work?

You enter the cost per unit (e.g. per kg or per litre) for each ingredient alongside its quantity. NutriCalcPro calculates the ingredient cost per recipe, per batch, and per serving automatically. This is separate from nutrition calculation but uses the same recipe data.

Is the nutrition data accurate enough for regulatory submission?

NutriCalcPro calculates from USDA FoodData Central, the official US government nutrition database. This is widely accepted for regulatory compliance documentation. For EU regulatory submissions and products with unusual ingredients, we recommend verifying against laboratory analysis. NutriCalcPro is used by food businesses for commercial label production, not as a substitute for accredited laboratory testing when required.
